Cherry-Berry Crumble Topping

Cinnamon-scented crumble with juicy fruits

  • 1 cup blueberries, rinsed and patted dry
  • 2 cups cherries, rinsed, pitted, cut in half
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • ¼ c chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. soft butter
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon

Combine berries and cherries in shallow small-medium baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and mix with a fork until combined – it will be lumpy. Scatter topping over fruit (it will not cover completely). Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Serve with plain cake, chocolate or vanilla ice cream, or yogurt.
